Rules & Regulations

參加者必須仔細閱讀皇仁書院家長教師會(主辦單位)所定下的活動守則及指引。

Participants must read carefully the event rules & regulations as set by The Queen's College Parents-Teachers' Association (the Organizer).

1. 報名細則 Registration

• 參加者必須是皇仁書院現屆學生、現屆學生之家長、老師、舊生及以上人士所帶同的家人及朋友。All participants must be current students at Queen's College and their parents, teachers, alumni, friends and relatives accompanied by the above persons.
• 參加者必須在報名時提供有效的電郵地址及手提電話。所有訊息均通過電郵或WhatsApp通知參加者。All participants must provide valid email address and mobile number for registration. All correspondences will be communicated via email or WhatsApp.
• 所有參加者／參加隊伍必須於報名時繳付最低籌款額作為報名費用，並不設退款。All participants / groups must pay the minimum donation as the registration fee upon registration. All payments are non-refundable.
• 報名費不屬可扣稅項目。捐款收據將在確認報名後發出。Registration fee is not tax deductible. Receipt for donation will be issued after confirmation of the registration.
• 報名時尚未年滿 18 歲的參加者，必須得到其家長或監護人的同意方可登記參加。Participants who are below 18 years of age at the time of registration must obtain permissions from their parents or guardians.
• 完成報名及付款後，即表示參加者遵守及接受在此及其後主辦單位所定下之一切參賽條款、細則及安排。Upon completing the registration and payment, the participant is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions of the event, the official rules as stipulated and to those that may be later introduced by the Organizer.
• 參加者在報名後，即表示同意主辦單位使用其上載到主辦單位指定的完成記錄上傳網站的活動步行里數記錄及相片，而事先不作任何通知。By registering the event, participants are deemed to give their consent to the Organizer to use any event footage and photos uploaded by them to the Organizer's mileage record upload web page during and after the event without prior notification.
• 參加者必須在完成報名前確保所交資料正確無誤。完成付款及網上報名後，參加者將不能更改其個人資料及所選參與組別。All the information provided by a participant in the online registration form must be true and accurate. Upon completing the payment and online registration, participants will not be allowed to change personal information and categories.
• 參加名額不能轉讓。Participation quota is non-transferable.
• 若參加者提供錯誤資料、未提供付款紀錄、或不符合參加資格，主辦單位將保留取消其參加活動的權利，已繳費用將不獲退還。主辦單位亦會以電郵，WhatsApp或其他方式，向參加者查詢或要求提供補充資料 。The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the registration of any participants without refund of the payment if they provide false information, fail to provide the payment slip, or fail to meet the registration requirements. The Organizer may contact participants by email, WhatsApp or other means for any additional information required for their registration.
• 活動屬自願參與性質，參加者願意承擔一切風險及責任，並無權向主辦單位追討因是次活動而引致之自身受傷、意外、死亡或任何形式的損失索償或追究責任。Participation in the event is voluntary and at the own risk of participants. Each participant agrees to absolve the Organizer from all liabilities arising from bodily injuries, accidents, death or other losses during or caused by the event.
• 主辦單位有權在截止報名日期前後停止報名，而事先不作任何通知。The Organizer reserves the right to close the registration any time, whether before or after the registration deadline specified, without prior notification.
• 參加者／參加隊伍於進行活動時必須遵守當日香港政府根據《預防及控制疾病條例》（第599 章）、其相關附屬法例包括但不限於《預防及控制疾病（禁止聚集）規例》（第 599G 章）、《預防及控制疾病（佩戴口罩）規例》（第 599I 章）及任何相關法例及規定所施行的預防、抵禦、阻延及控制疾病個案或傳播的措施。參加者在活動中必須保持適當社交距離，按照相關的規例佩戴口罩，並只在相關的措施豁免的情況下不佩戴口罩。參加者必須遵守公眾場所進行羣組聚集的人數限制，禁止在公眾地方進行 4 人以上的羣組聚集。如遭到任何執法或相關機構檢控，參加者將自行承擔責任，主辦單位將不須對於任何此類起訴承擔任何責任。Participants must strictly adhere to all measures for preventing, protecting against, delaying or otherwise controlling the incidence or transmission of disease implemented by the Hong Kong Government pursuant to the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance (Cap.599), its related subsidiary legislation including but not limited to Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Gathering) Regulation (Cap.599G) and Prevention and Control of Disease (Wearing of Mask) Regulation (Cap.599I) and all related laws and regulations. Participants must maintain appropriate social distance during the event, wear masks according to the relevant regulations, and only take off the mask in circumstances exempted by the relevant regulations. Group gatherings of more than four persons is prohibited. If any participant is prosecuted by any law enforcement agencies or officers, the participant shall be personally responsible, and the Organizer shall not have any liability in relation to such prosecution.

2.  記錄步行里數 Recording Result

• 參加者必須使用具有GPS功能的智能裝備/應用程式來記錄獲得的步行里數。步行里數記錄必須清楚顯示日期、距離、和步行路線。參加者可以上傳不多於兩份的步行里數記錄而總步行里數需要最少達1.60公里才視為完成。是次活動，主辦單位不會接受跑步機記錄的步行里數。Participants must use GPS-enabled mobile devices/apps to record the mileage gained. Each mileage record uploaded must clearly show the date, distance, duration and route. Participants can submit a maximum of two mileage records, and the sum of mileages must be of 1.60 KM minimum. The Organizer regrets that records from running machines/treadmills will not be accepted.
• 參加者／參加隊伍必須在 2022 年 8 月 12 日至 9 月 12 日之間以跑步 / 步行/ 遠足形式完成自訂的步行路線，並於 2022 年 9 月 12 日 23:59 前進入主辦單位指定的完成記錄上傳網站，輸入完成距離和時間，及上傳步行里數記錄。主辦單位不會接受和驗證在上述時間以外上傳的記錄。Participants must run/walk/hike to complete the self-selected route within 12 August 2022 to 12 September 2022. Participants must then input the distance and duration achieved and upload the corresponding mileage record in the Organizer’s mileage record upload web page on or before 23:59 on 12 September 2022. Mileage records generated and uploaded outside the said period will NOT be accepted or verified by the Organizer.
• 主辦單位僅接受並驗證不多於兩個步行里數記錄。No more than two mileage records will be accepted and verified by the Organizer.
• 主辦單位將會檢查及驗證所有參加者／參加隊伍上傳的步行里數紀錄。如發現任何虛假步行里數紀錄，主辦單位保留刪除該虛假紀錄及取消參加者 / 參加隊伍贏取獎項的權利。The Organizer will check and verify all records uploaded by participants. The Organizer reserves the right to delete any ingenuine record and disqualify the participants from attaining any awards.

3. 收集個人資料聲明 Personal Information Collection

4. 上載打卡照片 Upload a photo

• 每個參加單位只可以遞交一件打卡相片作品。Each group can only submit one photo.
• 參加單位可以使用智能手機，相機或其他具有數碼拍攝功能的裝置拍攝打卡相片。Participating groups can use smartphones, cameras or other devices with digital capture function to take  photos.
• 打卡相片必須為參賽者的個人原創作品，並需保證作品沒有侵犯任何第三者的知識產權及沒有不雅或暴力內容。打卡相片內容亦不得違反香港法例或具爭議性。The photo must be the participant's personal original work, and must ensure that the work does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and does not contain indecent or violent content. The content of the photo must not violate the laws of Hong Kong or be controversial.
• 如有偽造、抄襲或未符合參賽規格者，經發現屬實，主辦單位可取消參賽資格。If there is forgery, plagiarism or non-compliance with the competition specifications, the Organizer may disqualify the competition if it is found to be true.
• 參賽打卡相片恕不退件，原始檔案請參加單位自行備份。The photo will not be returned, and the original file should be backed up by the participants.
• 主辦單位有權以任何形式刊載、轉載或使用打卡相片與參加者姓名於各式宣傳品或媒體上，以作本會推廣，不另致酬或要求任何回饋。主辦單位亦有權對於打卡相片進行必要之編輯修改。The Organizer has the right to publish, reprint or use the photo and the participant's name in various publicity materials or media in any form for the promotion of the Association without any payment or request for feedback. The Organizer also reserves the right to make necessary edits and modifications to the photos.

5.  酌處權 Discretion

• 主辦單位保留更改此活動守則及指引之權利。如有任何爭議，主辦單位保留最終決定權。 The Organizer reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions. Should there be any dispute, the Organizer reserves the right to the final decision.
• 主辦單位保留取消觸犯、違反或不遵守任何活動規則之人士的參加資格及贏取獎項的權利。被取消資格的參加者之費用，將不獲退還。In case of violation, breach or non‐observance of any terms and conditions of the event, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person and / or nullify his or her result. The Organizer shall not be obliged to refund any payment under such circumstances.
• 主辦單位擁有此活動之最終決定權。任何有關是次活動的臨時改動或取消，將於皇仁書院家長教師會網站公佈。The Organizer reserves the right of final decision of the event. Please refer to The Queen's College Parents-Teachers' Association's website for any changes or cancellation of the event.
• 若活動守則及指引的英文版本與中文版本之間有任何歧義，則以英文版本為準。If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

聲明 Disclaimer

參加者報名後，即表示同意以下免責聲明以及活動守則及指引：

“本人聲明將會遵守主辦單位皇仁書院家長教師會的活動守則及指引。本人聲明在健康狀況適宜情況下才參加活動，並且會自負風險。本人接受皇仁書院家長教師會將對因參加本活動而引起的任何損失，損害，訴訟，索賠，成本或費用概不負責。本人在此允許皇仁書院家長教師會使用本人上傳的活動步行里數記錄及相片。本人明白在任何情況下報名費和捐款均不獲退還。本人在參加活動之前同意以上的活動守則及指引。”

Upon successful registration, participants agree to the following Disclaimer and this Event Rules & Regulations:

“I declare I will abide by the age limits set for the event and will abide by the event rules and regulations of The Queen's College Parents-Teachers' Association, The Organizer. I declare that I will not participate in the walkathon event unless I am medically fit during the event period and that, in any event, I will participate at my own risk. I accept that The Queen's College Parents-Teachers' Association will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise out of my participation of the event. I also hereby give my consent to The Queen's College Parents-Teachers' Association for using my footage and photographs uploaded during the participation for any purposes. I understand that registration fee and donation are non-refundable under any circumstances. I agree to the event rules & regulations before I join the event.”
